INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Stumble Inn Backpackers in the heart of Stellenbosch: -
Stumble Inn is located in the heart of Stellenbosch, the wineland student capital of the Western Cape. The lodge is made up of two historic Cape Dutch houses and provides all the amenities the avid traveler would expect from a quality hostel.

Get your hands on one of their great town maps and take a stroll through the historical museum town, taking in the Cape of yesteryear.

Students like to party and here is no exception. With the wine fountains flowing and beer on tap you better remember your liver tablets and take advantage of the excellent "regmaker" breakfast complete with a double expresso, as a cure for your hangover after a night of hard partying. The locals are well known for their open hospitality and Stumble Inn is no exception.

Browse the many museums,
Go on a "Wine Route" tour,
Don't forget the "Brandy Route" tour,
Check out the student pubs and clubs,
Day tours to the coast, try shark diving if you dare!

Our Accommodation: -
Most of Stumble's dorms have three bunk beds (six people) per room. The beds are all fitted with a sheet and have a pillow in a pillowslip. Most people bring their own sleeping bags however we do have blankets available and duvets for hire. Remember its quite chilly between June and November.

Stumble's double rooms all have double beds and are provided with linen.

Camping is in our garden and its a case of pitching where you're comfortable.

Facilities: -
Guests have free tea, coffee and sugar available in the fully equipped kitchen and are welcome to prepare their own food. Braai (BBQ) facilities are available and we regularly have braai evenings cooking traditional style meat and/or fresh fish with all the trimmings.

Pool Table, Swimming Pool, Great showers, Big garden, satelite TV, Central location, parking, Information services for overland tour bookings and all other types of tours, Car hire, Horse riding, Bike Hire, Internet facilities, Free tea and coffee, friendly staff, great BBQ's and a relaxing time.

Bike Hire is available on a daily or hourly basis, whichever works out cheapest.
