WELCOM TO JIKELEZA LODGE BACKPACKERS
JIKELEZA LODGE is run by Robert and Mariana both intrepid explorers of Southern Africa and veteran travellers. They opened this lodge to share their knowledge and love for this country with others and to maintain contact with other travellers. They know their country better than anyone I know- try them for advice on anything anywhere.
The atmosphere is laid back and the hostel is set in an old home where there is plenty of gleaming wood. No over crowding here, clean neat and comfortable.
You can relax in the garden enjoy your beers at the boat bar with lucky legs or go wild at the local African Jazz Club.

3 Buildings from super quiet to DAY/NIGHT Action. Plenty of double/twin rooms. The best place to discover PE get advice save money & do all your bookings from. This is the beach to be seen at in Port Elizabeth. Great looking guys and girls! If it is too crowded for you then there are 30 km of pristine beaches including the largest coastal dune field in the world where you can walk and not see a soul for miles.

How to get to JIKELEZA LODGE: From the N2 take the M4/Settlers F/way into city. Take the Russell Rd off ramp and bear right under the freeway. Turn left into Rink Street. Travel straight until forced left into Bird Street. First right into Deare Street and ride into our door
