INTRODUCTION

Where we go...
We visit the beautiful MOREMI GAME RESERVE in the eastern section of the Okavango Delta. Land and delta meet here and form a mosaic of grassland and forest, lagoons, waterways and rolling parkland to provide a diverse habitat for wildlife. Surely this is one of the most beautiful areas in southern Africa.

CHOBE, in the north eastern corner of Botswana, takes its name from the Chobe River. The Park covers 11,000 square kilometers and is famous for its huge herds of Elephant and Buffalo. The habitat varies from riverine forest to the open grasslands and rocky outcrops of Savuti. In these rocks are bushman paintings. Here the harsh landscape provides a backdrop for large herds of game and many predators. The Lion's roar heard before dawn while gazing at the starry sky will not easily be forgotten.

The CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE offers total peace. This is an area where vast herds of Antelope are seen at certain times of the year and Birds of Prey abound.

OASIS SAFARIS provides mobile camping safaris for the more adventurous traveller who likes to participate. Our clients travel in specially adapted safari vehicles which carry all camping equipment and each contain a deep freeze. They provide excellent game viewing and photographic opportunities.

Accommodation is in comfortable two-person tents large enough to stand in. Each tent is equipped with 2 camp beds and mattresses, a bedside table and lamp.

Varied and inventive meals are cooked on the campfire and eaten seated around the table in the mess tent. All meals and equipment are provided, with the exception of sleeping bags and pillows.

Clients are asked to erect and dismantle their own tents and to help load the vehicle, but the camp staff carry out all other camp duties. When camping in the bush adequate camp showers and toilets will be provided.
